The overall objective of the strategy is to regenerate the area to make it an attractive, green, sustainable and accessible place, finally overcoming the divide between the city centre and the Sant'Edoardo neighbourhood, while also creating a space for the community that promotes employment, expands opportunities and services for young people and allows the older population to find opportunities for socialisation.
The strategy therefore focuses specifically on young people, the elderly and job seekers and is divided into tangible actions (buildings, parking, park) and intangible actions (services).

The strategy involves transforming the system of public spaces and buildings in the target area with the creation of a new market square, a new park, improvements to cycle and pedestrian mobility and vehicle mobility, and the creation of a new community hub (Boost Community Hub). These spaces will host integrated services for the target populations (the elderly, young people and job seekers) and for citizens (residents and temporary residents) focusing on health, work and education.
