Pavia - City of water

The strategy, which focuses on the Ticino River as a laboratory for social inclusion, identifies the waterfront as an opportunity to improve the efficiency of its ecosystems, reconciling society and biodiversity through the creation of sustainable, participatory and culturally vibrant environments.

For the implementation of the project, an initial participatory and engagement phase was carried out through the presentation of the Strategy to citizens and stakeholders. Professionals, investors, universities, associations, operators and citizens were involved in order to gather useful contributions for the definition of the strategy.
Communication and local promotion of the individual activities are carried out through an approach based on outreach, workshops, events and informative material with the aim of involving interested parties.
